Prior to founding Encompass Resolution, Ann was of counsel with HROI, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the law firm Lathrop & Gage L.C. where she focused her practice on conducting independent investigations, representing employers in harassment, discrimination and other serious employee complaints, and developing and conducting management and supervisory training on HR-related topics for companies throughout the country.

Before joining HROI Ann was in private practice with Davis Ketchmark and McCreight, a prominent plaintiff practice where she represented individuals in employment related matters in federal and state court and before local, state and federal agencies.  Before entering into private practice, Ann was a senior investigator with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).  While there she was responsible for a wide range of tasks, including evaluating and screening Commission intake of cases, guiding the investigation of highly complex cases, negotiating for appropriate relief through alternative dispute resolution and recommending Commission-initiated litigation.  She also provided training to varied groups and served in leadership roles on a number of District-wide committees drafting EEOC procedures and resolving labor-management conflict.
